Juliet has been one of our teachers for two years! She comes from Kenya and originally wanted to be a doctor. Her three sisters convinced her that the teaching profession is where God is calling her so she changed her major and became a teacher. Life hasn’t been easy. Her mom died 18 years ago and her father died last year. She clings to her faith in Jesus to see her through the good and challenging times! “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. Juliet hopes to teach at a university one day as she continues to grow. City of Joy Rwanda is sending her to get a bachelors degree in teaching. She is able to attend classes during the term breaks. A couple from Phoenix is sponsoring her at $1,000 per year to get this two year degree.
Do you have a heart to help teachers? If you would like to sponsor one of our teachers (any amount helps) please go to our website and donate with a note: “Teacher’s University.” God bless you for making a difference in the lives of our teachers!
