When we first moved to Rwanda almost 6 years ago I never knew that this black box would become part of our every day life.
This box is a stabilizer and a converter. It regulates the houses’ electrical current that often comes in pulses and it also ratchets down the 220 Volts of electricity to 110 Volts so we can plug in our items that we have brought from the states. The black box saves our appliances/electronics and can be found in every room of our house.
The black box reminds me of how Jesus saves us from destruction. His death and resurrection gives us new life.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father expect through me.” John 14:6
