We brought back a suitcase full of wooden cars for the children in our school. Toys for God’s Kids@aol.com are a group of retired followers of Jesus who have made it their mission to give a toy wooden car to every poor child in the world! For many of our students at Joy Christian School this is the only “non self-made” toy that they will ever own. It was fun to see their eyes light up as they learned that someone cares enough about them to donate a simple wooden car. Already in a few short minutes you could hear cars being raced and driven all over the classroom. Thank you Toys for God’s Kids for sharing the love of Jesus through something tangible and special as a toy!
